About
Daisy was born in 1996 in Gloucestershire.
She was educated at Benenden School where she won an Art Scholarship. At 18yrs old she started training at the renowned Charles H Cecil Studios in Florence, where she studied for 5 years, developing skills and techniques used by great artists past and present such as Velazquez, Van Dyck, Raeburn and John Singer Sargent. Whilst in Italy her last year was spent mentoring and teaching fine art students.
She is now based in England with studios in London and Kent where she produces her own work as well as commissioned ‘sight size’ striking portraits using controlled natural light, creating paintings which are naturalistic with an ageless feel.
